I dont see the whole need to have a app on your phone to do everything for you.

Of course they are going to be first! Windows has a long history and a few mess ups on the way such as millennium edition (notice I did not mention vista, keep reading). The one thing you will always hear is viruses on PC is a huge problem and yes it is! But if you look into the reasons why it’s apparent it’s not all Windows fault and this is why. The web is filled with windows users just as someone making a business would like to target a majority crowd for the best profits is the same reason why spyware / malware / Trojans are targeted at PC’s they make of nearly 80% of the computers on the web. That’s a large share and more profitable for hackers. Simple things like to click popup, strange emails (Nigeria you know who I’m talking to!) and anything that’s free and not from a reputable source. Nothing is free!!! Keep that in mind when you click that free iPod link because you just paid with the PC’s safety. A lot of people see Microsoft since it’s a corporation (even though Apple is to) that they push their ideas and what they want onto you and restrict you from your own ideas! Well any PC user knows this isn’t true, not only does Microsoft have many apps you can download to change windows they allow thousands of companies to write programs for the OS making software titles for anything you can imagine, also many enthusiasts make freeware apps to help with tasks. I hear from a bunch of people that windows can’t do this can’t do that is missing this, well my answer to them is the OS is a Base a foundation, a foundation is not the house and does not provide anything the rest of the house offers but supports it providing a strong place for the rest of the house to sit. Windows is just a base they provide what you need to start using your PC and offer basic functions. I don’t what Microsoft telling me I should use this app because it’s preinstalled or because they think it’s what I should use! I want to go out a choose my burning software or my video editing software because we all know the basic tools are not meant to be used for professional anything because they are basic!

For some of you that don’t know OS stands for Operating System and is the main software that connects your hardware to you, it provides a base for programs to be installed to and allow them to operate with the hardware. Articles

Most people use Microsoft's OS's such as XP, Vista and soon 7. Also we all know about the Apple's OS x making up only 8 - 12% percent of the os market. These are the top OS's but not the only ones. Many distributions of Linux an open source OS that use to be known as a nerd's os because it was thought to be hard to use and difficult to install but now days it’s not true. Many distros have become just as easy to use as windows such as Unbuntu, Susie and one built by HP and soon a Google chrome linx based OS to step out.

But what should you think about all these options? Should you look for the cheapest such as the Linux distros because they are free? Linux is in the shadows larking to strict, because the distros are catching up with the major os's and soon don’t be to scared if they start taking more market share due to netbooks/tops and because of Google! Or should I go Apple because it’s supposedly easier, doesn’t get viruses and makes me look cool in a coffee shop? Or should I go with Windows a thought to be THE MAN, or strict, viruses consumed, hard to use and not user friendly? Well we all know the stereo types t hat come along with each os. We can’t seem to get the Mac Vs PC commercials out of our head with John Hodgeman as PC and Justin Long as Mac and the different situations where the Mac turns out in the end as the best option and does all you want and PC made to look strict business and not fun os that has many flaws. I am going to look into each OS not to far in-depth but just the info we need to make a decisions on what might be best for you or me.
